The course is aimed at qualified Air Traffic Control Officers who wish to become competent and certified On-the-Job Training Instructors. The OJTI Course provides Air Traffic Control Officers fundamental teaching and communication skills to become an instructor and this course is a regulatory requirement. One of the courses prime objectives is to give a basic knowledge of teaching and psychological methods, principles and tools that they can use to improve their interaction with the trainee during on-the-job training.
