http://www.gisevents.com/2011/atm/index.htm
China aviation market has been growing rapidly, there was one hundred sixty millions of passengers in 2006, and one hundred and eighty six millions in 2007.  Although there was global financial crisis in 2008, China aviation market still recorded a growth to one hundred and ninety three millions of passengers. In 2009, the figure reached two hundred and thirty million of passengers and by the end of 2010, it reached to two hundred and sixty seven millions, almost double of the figure in 2005.  It is predicted the figure of passengers will reach seven hundred millions in 2020.

The rapid growth of China aviation market has put pressure to the air traffic management. With the testing policy of Low Sky opening for general aviation, Chinas air traffic management is facing more challenges and opportunities than ever before. Chinas growing aviation industry calls for a more efficient and high tech equipped air traffic management system.

It is in this setting that the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) News will host China Air Traffic Management (ATM) Summit 2011, that will be held on May 24th 25th, 2011 in Beijing, China, and will be organized by GIS Events. This event will focus on application of front edged technologies, regional cooperation on air traffic control and more efficient ATM system.

This summit will invite the industry to address their views on ATM development - including regulators, airlines, airports, ATM associations, ATC, global industry leaders, providers of equipment and services, meteorological service providers and so on. It will bring a platform to the delegates to share their views on the future of China air traffic management.
