 Coastal Environmental Systems, Inc. provides AWOS (Automated Weather Observing Systems) for Category I, II, III and IV airfields. Coastal aviation weather stations have been selected by the FAA, U.S. National Weather Service, NAV CANADA, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines and NASA. In addition, working with the U.S. Navy and the National Science Foundation, Coastal deployed the first ever aviation weather station to operate and survive at the South Pole Station. Founded in 1981, Coastal has systems operating on every continent and in every conceivable environment. The Hong Kong Airport Authority and the Singapore Civil Defense Agency rely on Coastal products, as do the French, Swedish, Mexican, Polish, German and Taiwanese Militaries. Coastal has installed large airport systems in Korea, Japan, Germany, Columbia, Qatar and Afghanistan. |
