To be based in Paris we are looking for a datalink expert for a long term project. You will support the manager in what can be described as a challenging customer facing and technical role. Tasks to include maintenance of Datalink/ATN platforms; administration of UNIX/LINUX workstations; configuration of telecoms equipment such as X25, ISDN.

Evaluation and integration of Datalink/ATN components of ANSPs, aircraft operators and air/ground communication service providers. You will also support stakeholders on investigations of technical and operational issues as well as giving presentations to both technical and managerial audiences. You will have between 5-10 years experience in the field of aviation datalink communication projects. Experienced to administrator level in UNIX/LINUX based systems; experience in the operation of Aeronautical Telecommunications network Routers; Airborne controller pilot datalink communications (CPLDC), ground based CPDLC. You should have knowledge of Aeronautical ICAO standards and practices. As well as being technically strong you will also have to give presentations so should be comfortable with this.
