AT-One announces release of NARSIM version 6 at the ATC Global 09

The NARSIM development group, part of AT-One, announces the release of NARSIM version 6.

This major update release incorporates modifications to the airspace model to support the advanced tools developed in the European 6th Framework projects OPTIMAL and FLYSAFE. Better support for green airport operations and full data link support for CPDLC is also included in this release.

Other improvements include modernisation of the graphics for Air Traffic Controller displays. The use of OpenGL technology enables (amongst others) the use of anti-aliasing, which allows for a much better looking display layout for controllers and other users.

With this release AT-One shows its ongoing commitment to deliver the Research and Development real-time ATM validation platform for Europe and for validation work in the European SESAR project in particular.

This release will be used by NARSIM User Community Members NLR, DLR and LFV for their ATM R&D and training activities.
