COMSOFTs Aeronautical Information Management System solution for the Vietnam Air Navigation Services Corporation (VANSCORP) has passed factory acceptance tests. System and staff are ready now for on site installation and operation.
KARLSRUHE/GERMANY, May 2009 End of 2008 COMSOFT had been contracted by VANSCORP to provide a turnkey AIM solution for the management of Vietnams aeronautical information. Recently a major project milestone has been accomplished in Karlsruhe: the factory acceptance tests (FAT) were concluded successfully in April.
With VANSCORP we experience an excellent collaboration and are looking forward to bringing our technical expertise and know-how into installing the countrys new AIS infrastructure, said Manfred Schmid, Managing Director of COMSOFT.
COMSOFTs Aeronautical Information Management System represents the new generation of modern modular platform integrating workflows for NOTAM, MET, flight plan management, Charting, electronic AIP, and web-based briefing services. Once installed, the new system will provide 22 locations with fully automated static and dynamic AIM operations. Considerable cost savings as well as a significantly improved data quality are just a few of many customer benefits. Its high degree of adaptability and ability to conveniently import legacy data underlines COMSOFTs competence to meet the unique requirements of each customer.
COMSOFT GmbH was established in 1979 and has been active in the ATC domain for over 20 years. VANSCORP of Vietnam is one of the growing number of new customers COMSOFT could attract in the Asia-pacific region.
