The overall objective of the project is to ensure that all Georgian aviation regulations in civil aviation safety and licensing of air carriers are harmonised with those of the European Union and implemented by the aviation authorities and industry in Georgia with the aim to
- increase safety standards in Georgia
- support negotiations between the EU and Georgia in this area.
