Flight Inspection and Flight Validation of IFR and LPV Helicopter Procedures

Extending the FCS range of services, FCS now offers flight inspection and flight validation of IFR helicopter procedures jointly with the Swiss air-rescue operator Rega. First flight inspections of segments of the new "LFN" (low flight network) were carried out by a specially equipped Rega AW109SP helicopter in September 2014 supported by a FCS flight inspector and a flight inspection system fitted for the specific purpose. The validation and and flight inspection of the procedures designed by skyguide is the final step to BAZL approval and publication in the AIP.
