FREQUENTIS ATM Users Experience Forum as open platform for knowledge sharing across the global users’ society

Currently, more than 90% of passengers carried worldwide are covered by Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP) that are Frequentis customers, and organisations in more than 100 countries rely on Frequentis systems. After the World ATM Congress 2014, a group of European ANSPs took an initiative to launch an open discussion forum to enable knowledge sharing across this remarkable global ATM users’ community using Frequentis products and services – the Frequentis ATM Users Experience Forum.

As a result of this initiative, and together with Frequentis, the concept for a regular, non-commercial users’ forum enabling knowledge sharing between the members was founded and the first conference will be organised and hosted by HungaroControl in October 2014.

Initiated and based on strong users’ commitment

The Frequentis ATM Users Experience Forum intends to be an open, regular users group with senior attendees from the ANSP organisations. Its purpose is to stimulate and facilitate open discussion amongst members about Frequentis ATM products, solutions and services to improve the operational efficiency with the optimised utilisation of the existing investments and asset.

The discussion within this users’ society will deliver benefits from the experience of other organisations, with the objective to further develop and improve in regard to safety, interoperability, efficiency, maximising the value of investments and total cost of ownership in ATM operations. The Forum is open to any ANSPs and authorities using Frequentis Products, Solutions and Services for air traffic management.

First Conference hosted by HungaroControl

Already on October 20th / 21st this year, the first Frequentis ATM Users Experience Conference is to take place in Budapest. It’s dedicated especially to the audience of the European ANSPs, later on the Conference is to be organised also with other regions.

HungaroControl is going to chair this very first event, scheduled for October 2014 in Budapest. "The Frequentis ATM Users Experience Forum is in perfect harmony with HungaroControl’s program of customer satisfaction and service development, which main goal is to enhance service quality based on our customers’ requirements," states Kornél Szepessy, CEO HungaroControl.
