FREQUENTIS presentation well received at the Global AIM conference 2013

- Vienna, Austria
May 14-17 saw the world’s biggest Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) event take centre stage at Swissôtel The Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey.

Some 289 participants from 53 countries attended the Global AIM conference in Istanbul, and many found their way to the Frequentis booth or visited the company’s presentation on “A decade in the AIM cloud”.
Frequentis experts provided visitors with details and demonstrations of the smartAIM product suite, which includes both static (smartDM) and dynamic (NOTAM, METEO and BRIEFING) data management. Solutions for AIP publication and digital GIS-based charting were also showcased.
The focus was on integrated, SWIM-compatible solutions designed to automate the management of aeronautical information, particularly on the open, service-oriented system architecture in the context of centralised services. This modular set of applications ensures Frequentis solutions are future-proof and customised to specific customer needs, supporting both day-to-day tasks and the transition from AIS to AIM.
As Joachim Lennarz, director of the Business Unit Information Solutions at Frequentis AG, put it: “The Global AIM conference is a very effective platform for information exchange and networking. It was a great opportunity for us to meet and talk to so many partners and friends in the AIM industry. Frequentis once more demonstrated its expertise in the field of cloud-based AIM services that support both operations and system migration.”
