FREQUENTIS signs contract for two Air Traffic Management Conferencing Control Center Systems in Brazil

After delivering several air traffic control tower systems Frequentis, the global leader of high tech communications and information systems, will deliver two air traffic control conferencing system
to be installed in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro. Frequentis will be working with the Air Navigation Management Center (Centro de Gerenciamento da Navegação Aérea - CGNA), a division of  Departamento de Controle do Espaco Aereo (DECEA), the air navigation service provider in Brazil, the largest country in the Caribbean and Latin American (CALA) region.
CGNAs task is to balance the air traffic demand with the infrastructure capacity in order to ensure the air traffic efficiency in Brazil, providing the best profile for the users without ground or air delays. With its Air Traffic Management Conference Control Center System (ATM CCCS) Frequentis fully addresses the needs and requirements of CGNAs operation.

The Frequentis 3020 system will provide essential voice based coordination functions using the latest voice communications technologies. The 3020s operator terminals allow air traffic management personnel to dramatically improve the situational awareness and coordination within the Brazilian air space.
