Twenty successful years in partnership with PANSA (Polish Air Navigation Services Agency)

- Madrid, Spain.

On 23.12.1996, the first contract was signed between PANSA (Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, former "Polish Airports" State Enterprise-Air Traffic Agency) and Frequentis. Since then this collaboration has continued to expand. At the World ATM Congress in Madrid both companies celebrated this long-term partnership.

On 8 March a high-level delegation from PANSA and Frequentis celebrated their 20-year collaboration at World ATM Congress. The first assignment was a voice communication system for PANSA in Warsaw, and today Frequentis solutions are available on 340 CWPs (working positions) across Poland. The most advanced installation is in the Warsaw Enroute Center, this includes the main VCS, backup VCX and training/contingency VCS systems.

While using either the voice communication system (VCS) or the Aeronautical Traffic Information System (ATIS) eight airports across Poland are relying on Frequentis products: Warsaw, Kraków, Katowice, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Poznań, Rzeszów, Wrocław and Lublin. This portfolio comprises hardware, software and smartAIM tools. In February of this year, the last site acceptance test was completed.

"We are very satisfied with the deployed solutions and look forward to our further collaboration. This celebration marks our steady relationship and our trust in Frequentis", stated Mrs. Magdalena Jaworska, Acting PANSA President.

"We are proud of our long-term relationship with PANSA and to support their readiness for future challenges. Frequentis is working with all of its customers toward improved safety and efficiency of air transport in Europe. To ensure this, great collaboration over a long time enables us to better understand our customers and their challenges. We are looking forward to the next twenty years of collaboration with PANSA", added Hannu Juurakko, Vice President ATM Civil at Frequentis.
