Drones: Gryphon Sensors' Skylight™ - a solution to an aviation challenge

- North Syracuse, USA.

Drones or Unmanned Air Systems are becoming a big challenge on the aviation industry and how to deal with the problem is also a big discussion point at the moment.

Just this week a drone was reported to hit a British Airways A320 on approach to Heathrow Airport in the U.K. The incident caused a fire in the right engine.

We interviewed Anthony Albanese, President of Gryphon Sensors at the World ATM Congress last month. He introduces Gryphon Sensors' Skylight™ system which provides the capability to search airspace, detect and track intruders, assess the threat and mitigate (with appropriate authority) small drones from penetrating critical infrastructure.
