EUROCONTROL - Third Party Application Maintenance for Airport Tower Simulator (eDEP)


The present contract is related to the eDEP platform which has been developed and maintained by the EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre in order to provide simulation capabilities allowing demonstration and validation of new systems, test new configurations and safety tools, conduct training, and validate industrial prototypes. The platform has been extensively used over the past years for various projects with the main focus on airport operations with the participation of air navigation service providers (ANSPs), airports, industry and research institutes.

The purpose of the contract to be let with the successful Tenderer in the provision of the “Third Party Application Maintenance “ services for the eDEP platform in order to provide reliable platforms in line with the operational requirements.

The “Third Party Application Maintenance “ contract includes the following services:

- Corrective and perfective maintenance of the eDEP and associated documentation. This maintenance includes support of validated eDEP releases, as well as production of new releases;

- Upgrade of the eDEP to meet functional and system evolution requirements;

Provision of support services to the EUROCONTROL projects.
