FCS Flight Calibration Services GmbH is a joint venture of Austro Control GmbH, DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH and skyguide ltd. FCS has a long history of providing first-rate flight inspection services, backed by an h24 operational concept and highest availability, consistent with the stringent requirements of our ANSP, military, airport and industry customers.
FCS provides fully ICAO Doc 8071-compliant flight inspections, procedure validations, as well as radar flight testing using jet aircraft. FCS delivers several thousand flight inspection hours each year to the fullest satisfaction of our customers. FCS two new Beechcraft Super King Air 350 aircraft D-CFMD and D-CFME feature Collins ProLine 21 glass cockpits and the most modern flight inspection system available in industry. Two Learjet 35A aircraft are employed for radar flight testing services with optional SASS-C evaluation. FCS is fully qualified to perform DME/DME P-RNAV flight inspections, as well as GBAS flight inspections with our specially equipped and GBAS-certified D-CFME aircraft.
Beyond flight inspection, FCS provides R&D, engineering and consultancy services related to flight inspection, e.g. ILS critical and sensitive areas assessment, TACAN siting evaluations and 1030/1090 MHz signal analysis including Mode S, ADS-B and MLAT/WAM applications.
FCS is certified according to DIN EN ISO9001:2008 and holds approvals for flight inspection by several regulators and agencies. FCS is an active member of the German society of Navigation (DGON).
