INTELCAN SKYNAV ILS/DME commissioned in Equatorial Guinea

Intelcan’s SKYNAV Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) passed its Site Acceptance Test (SAT) at the Malabo International Airport in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The SAT was followed by a successful flight-check completed by ASECNA (Agence pour la Sécurité de la Navigation Aérienne en Afrique et à Madagascar). It is a notable accomplishment as this is the second successful commissioning of Intelcan NAVAID equipment in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the first ILS/DME was installed in Mongomeyen. The equipment will be managed and maintained by the ASECNA engineers.

Intelcan’s SKYNAV ILS/DME exceeds the highest standards for precise radio guidance in the aircraft’s final approach and landing.
