DWI supplies RAIM Predictions to Martinair
DWI is pleased to announce that Martinair, the Netherlands-based cargo service, has adopted the GNSS RAIM/RNP Prediction Service (GRPS) to support its PBN operations. Martinair shall initially be obtaining RAIM predictions via the DWI stand alone web-based User Interface, before switching to the DWI solution that is integrated with the Smart4Aviation flight planning system to obtain the predictions automatically as part of their routine flight planning operations.
The GRPS is now being used by multiple operators around the world as an enabler for RNAV and RNP operations, including for RNP AR APCH down to 0.1NM. Predictions can be obtained via the web-based User Interface or via flight planning systems. In both cases, the predictions are based upon the latest GPS constellation information.
"We're especially pleased that Martinair has chosen DWI for its RAIM prediction requirement as we already supply Air France and KLM, owners of Martinair, and it is a natural fit," said John Wilde, CEO of DW International. "We look forward to working with Martinair in the coming months'.
