Indra to implement the Romanian Air Traffic Management system

The Indra solution will organise the airspace for the entire country

The Romanian provider of air navigation services, ROMATSA, has selected Indra to implement a latest-generation air traffic management system that will organise aircraft movements in the country's entire airspace. The total value of this contract is €26 M.

The Executive Vicepresident of ROMATSA Aleodor Fräncu signed the contract with Indra Executive Vicepresident Rafael Gallego on 29 July at the ROMATSA headquarters. The signature took place in the presence of Cristian Ghibu, Transport Secretary of State of Rumanía, and a representative of the Spanish Embassy Emilio Guerra.

Indra will equip Bucharest Control Centre, as well as four approach facilities and total of 15 control towers with the latest-generation air traffic management system.
