Systems Interface awarded airbus contract

Systems Interface, based in the UK, has been awarded the contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of a new Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) at Airbus Operations Limited (Hawarden Airport).

Contracts were signed in October between Systems Interface Ltd and Airbus Operations Ltd for the supply of an Indra Navia, Normarc 7000 ILS to replace the current system on Runway 22 and a Moog Fernau 2020 DME to replace the current system serving both runways 22 and 4.

Project completion will be February 2013.
