The GPS RAIM Availability Prediction service is used by operators to confirm adequate availability of GPS for their planned operations.
The service will be developed to meet the requirements of several EASA regulations:
• Sub-section 10.2.1.3 (Pre-flight Planning) of JAA TGL 10;
• Sub-section 1.1.f (Pre-flight planning) of Appendix 4 (Operational Procedures) to EASA AMC 20-27.
The service shall be available via a web-based interface allowing users to configure the calculation and timing parameters used by the system when calculating RAIM availability.
The service shall provide RAIM outage NOTAM proposals for specified aerodromes. The aerodromes for which this service is provided will be those where the ANSP requests the service. These requests and the NOTAM proposal distribution will be channelled through EAD. The coverage of the service shall be all ECAC States including their overseas territories.
