eAIP - Course

The Electronic Aeronautical Information Publication or eAIP is a key building block on the roadmap to acheiving AIM both in Europe and around the world. The eAIP is incorporated by ICAO in its' AIM Roadmap and is already a common feature of AIP production in Europe and key countries around the world. This course explains the differences between standard AIP production and eAIP production and gives hands-on practical experience with an eAIP production system. The course covers: 1. What is an eAIP? (ICAO and Eurocontrol definitions) 2. eAIP Production Methods. 3. eAIP Migration Strategy (how to convert an AIP to an eAIP). 4. eAIP Outputs 5. Using Data Safely in the eAIP.Delegates can come from either a technical or Aeronautical background. The course is within the stream of AIM Specialist eAIP. Shorter One week courses are also available with fewer practical sessions.
