The 2011 Europe/US International Aviation Safety Conference organised by EASA in conjunction with the FAA, will take in place Vienna, Austria from the 14-16 June 2011.
Since the seamless operation of the entire air transport system relies more than ever on dependency between all stakeholders, this years conference titled Enhancing Global Aviation Safety Future Challenges focuses on the role of global interoperability in enhancing aviation safety.
The Agenda features key issues of trans-Atlantic interest including the Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement between the European Union and the United States which came into force on 1 May this year. In a series of dedicated sessions, panel members from EASA, the FAA and industry will discuss important aspects of the Agreement together with the next implementation steps.
Workshops will also be offered on other important regulatory developments including Third Country Operator requirements, the cross-border transferability of aircraft and Fatigue Risk Management.
