CANSO ATM/Aircraft Data Communications Policy Conference

CANSO, the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation, will stage its first ATM/Aircraft Data Communications Policy Conference, in association with EUROCONTROL, on 6-8 September 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam-Schiphol Hotel, the Netherlands.

Air Traffic Management (ATM) will require the extensive use of digital aircraft/ground communications between pilots and controllers as a viable alternative to VHF voice radio, if programmes such as NextGen and SESAR are to succeed. This conference will explore the current status of plans and initiatives designed to ensure the successful delivery of ATM Aircraft Data Communications.
