Entry Point North is one of the world’s leading Air Traffic Services (ATS) academies. From modern training centres across Europe, combined with onsite and online delivery worldwide, we help Air Traffic Controllers, ATSEPs and FIS professionals build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to keep airspace safe. Our training is audited under EU requirements and aligned with ICAO standards. Entry Point North is part of ICAO’s TRAINAIR PLUS network and works closely with IFATCA, IFATSEA, IFISA and CANSO.

Experience you can rely on

Founded in 2006, Entry Point North is an independent academy with strong operational roots. The organisation is jointly owned by Naviair (Denmark), LFV (Sweden) and AirNav Ireland. Our headquarters are in Malmö, Sweden, and our international team spans more than twenty nationalities. To date, we have trained more than 10,000 students and supported over 300 clients in more than 65 countries.

What we deliver

We provide initial, continuation and unit training, designed to meet both European and international requirements. Alongside training, we support organisations with tailored consultancy, simulator solutions, recruitment and selection support, and online learning. We operate training centres in Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Hungary, Belgium and Spain.

Simulation capability

Entry Point North delivers ATC training supported by advanced simulator technology designed for realism, flexibility and efficiency. With more than 400 simulator positions, we offer scalable solutions across a wide range of training needs, including:

• 360 degree tower simulation for full panoramic immersion and sharper situational awareness
• Multiple 270 and 360 degree tower simulators with 4K resolution for tailored scenarios
• 180 degree tower simulators for focused training in a compact format
• A radar simulator platform with more than 300 positions, built to replicate complex airspace scenarios and operational challenges

Online training

Since 2022, more than 1,000 learners have completed our online training solutions. Our online model supports cost efficiency, reduces travel and staffing pressure, and enables access from anywhere. We offer two main formats:

• On Demand: self paced learning with 24/7 access to readings, videos, exercises, and quizzes
• Live Guidance: instructor led sessions for real time interaction, discussion and guided learning, combined with On Demand materials

A typical access period is 90 days, with support available throughout, helping organisations maintain operational continuity while staying compliant.
