We deliver our training and services at our facilities in Sweden, Ireland, Hungary, Denmark, Spain and at client sites throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Our multinational staff – ATCOs, AFISOs, pilots, briefing officers, teachers, administrators, selection specialists and ATCO assistants – originate from more than 30 countries and in total speak over 25 different languages, which creates a truly global environment. We offer a high level of flexibility and mobility – our training and services can be delivered almost anywhere in the world. All courses are held in English.
STATE-OF-THE-ART TRAINING SIMULATORS
We use state-of-the-art BEST software simulators from the UK-based company MicroNav as well as Thales COOPANS (TopSky) simulators. The training positions are flexible and can be grouped or un-grouped quickly as needed, to run exercises in stand-alone or suite mode (executive and planner), groups or full “control centre” configuration, all depending on the training requirements. At our training sites, we are equipped with more than 380 radar/pilot simulator training positions and one 360° 3D, five 270°/360° 3D and twenty-three 180° 3D state-of-the-art simulators.

Air Traffic Control (ATC) training courses include Basic ATC, APS, ADI, ACS, APP, ACP rating courses (EUROCONTROL CCC and ICAO) and other ATC-related training courses.
ATS & FIS TRAINING
Air Traffic Services (ATS) employ many skilled and diverse categories of personnel. Entry Point North offers ATS & FIS Training including Basic ATS, AFIS, AFIS with Radar and AFIS Refresher and other training courses.
Aeronautical Meteorological Observation (AMO) courses aim to impart participants with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable them to produce fully-standardised, accurate meteorological observations.
Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) training courses include Basic, Shared, Qualification (COM, NAV, SUR, DAT, SMC), OJTI and Assessor courses. ATSEP Qualification courses can be delivered as separate streams (e.g. SUR-PSR) or as combined courses (e.g. SUR Combined - a course combining all SUR streams).
INSTRUCTOR AND ASSESSOR TRAINING
Instructor training courses are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of trainers, instructors and teachers within the field of aviation. The courses offered include OJTI, OJTI Refresher, Assessor and Assessor Refresher, Operational Supervisor and Operational Supervisor Refresher, Train the Trainer, Presentation Techniques, Classroom Techniques, Modern Training Philosophy, Conflict Management, etc.
Safety training courses of varying complexity and duration cover Accident/ Incident Investigation, Safety Management and other areas. Each programme can be tailored to meet individual client needs.
ATM-related training comprises courses in Airport Operations, Information Management, Environmental Matters, ATM and ATC Technology of varying complexity and duration. Tailor-made courses can be designed to meet individual client needs.
English Language Training comprises courses provided for ATCOs, pilots and aircraft maintenance personnel, as well as courses in general and aviation-related English, and English proficiency tests.
Entry Point North offers courses for non-controllers, including Rough Guide to ATC, Pilot’s Guide to ATC, Human Factors in ATM, Interview Techniques, Crew Resource Management/Team Resource Management (CRM/TRM) and aviation management training.

> Recruitment services. Entry Point North offers services to select exactly the right candidates for the challenging job of an Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) or any other job within the aviation environment.
> Simulator services. The simulator services are provided at all five training sites and include simulator rental, simulator pilots, and airspace, airport and exercise design. Services. can also be offered at a customer site using a Mobile On-Site Simulator (MOS) solution: the MOS-trailer or MOS-box.
> Consultancy. Our highly qualified specialists who are experienced in various aviation areas offer consultancy services to Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), airports, airlines and other organisations.
