Since 1988, Exel has supplied frangible support structures to more than 600 airports around the world. Exel’s composite supports are in full compliance with all current ICAO’s and FAA’s frangibility rulings with no ifs, buts or short cuts.

Frangibility of the products has been proven by dynamic full scale impact tests supported by data simulations. The best known application for Exel’s frangible airport products may be poles and lattice masts for elevated approach lights and weather observation systems, but the portfolio covers also ILS Localizer supports, ILS Glide Path Towers as well as frangible fencing.
