Operational Safety Administrator

Airways is seeking to add an Operational Safety Administrator to its team in Christchurch. The purpose of the Operational Safety Administrator position is to assist the Operational Safety team in managing the pipeline of operational safety investigations, safety related concerns and data requests by providing radar replay, audio playback and audio transcripts, liaising with stakeholders internally and externally as per the data request procedure and operating the Rolls Royce Safety Management System (RRSMS) and Barrier model application. The Operational Safety Administrator also generates operational safety reports and metrics, and administers operational safety processes as required.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Previous proven experience (2+years) in administration role, preferably in the area of operational safety.
- Aviation experience and knowledge, preferably with piloting, flight services or ATC experience.
- Previous experience (2+years) with safety systems or in operational safety in a similar role or industry.
- Be well organised and have the ability to prioritise and ensure work is completed within agreed deadlines.
