Expert Backoffice Training

DFS is seeking to hire a new expert for backoffice training.

Tasks

  • In your function, you will work actively on the further development and updating of the documents for in-company training and the maintenance of skills in the company
  • In coordination with the DAS regional airports, you create the annual plan for all DAS internal competence maintenance training and are responsible for their organization and documentation
  • You will support the planning and organization of in-company training and coordinate other necessary training courses (e.g. weather observation)
  • Your tasks will also include the application and extension of licenses and authorizations to the BAF and communication on these topics
  • You will work on updating and further developing the training documents (e.g. manuals, presentations, catalogs of questions, course descriptions, handbooks, simulator runs)
  • You will also take on the organization, preparation and follow-up of overarching meetings (e.g. Competence Committee)
  • You maintain the tools used in the area (e.g. license database, examination software) and develop them further. In addition, you will take on special tasks by arrangement (e.g. participation in the content of a defined scope of training courses depending on your qualifications)
  • Depending on the situation, you will be deployed as a simulator pilot
  • In your role, you will report to the Head of Training & Proficiency

Profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in the field of aviation management or air traffic management or comparable professional training with relevant professional experience and therefore have extensive knowledge of the “aviation system”
  • You have very good skills in the use of German and English as well as in the use of all common Office programs
  • You are characterized by a confident demeanor, independent and goal-oriented work. Analytical skills, communication skills, flexibility and enjoyment of working in a team complete your profile
  • Ideally, you have flying experience and are in possession of one of the following licenses/certificates: BZF (I/II) or AZF; Pilot license (PPL/CPL or ATPL)
  • First professional experience as a simulator pilot is an advantage
