  • You will provide theoretical and practical instruction and independently create teaching materials, training manuals, and performance records.
  • You ensure the quality of initial, advanced and continuing training, develop exam questions and evaluate performance records.
  • You provide professional support to course participants, identify development needs early on, and promote their individual skills development.

  • You have completed training as an air traffic controller in a tower*. This qualification is a basic requirement for the position. In addition, you bring many years of professional experience as an air traffic controller in a tower*, as well as several years of professional experience as a trainer* in the workplace and at simulation facilities.
  • You possess sound cross-functional experience and knowledge of the operating procedures and systems of air traffic services, as well as an outstanding level of methodological and didactic skills, demonstrated by an instructor qualification, e.g. ABQ or ADQ.
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills and impress with your strong linguistic expression and presentation abilities.
  • You demonstrate a high level of pedagogical commitment in supporting trainees during their entry into a new and demanding working world.
