Subject Teacher for Navigation, Aeronautics and Meteorology

The DFS is seeking to add a Subject Teacher for navigation, aeronautics and meteorology to its team.
The role:
- Create documents and study materials independently (e.g. training manuals, teaching/learning materials, tasks and proof of achievement, etc.)
- Conducting classes (theory and practice)
- Preparing and supervising learning units, assuring the quality of training and further education, and developing and updating exam questions
Requirements and qualifications:
- in possession of air transport pilot license (ATPL) with at least 1500 flight hours and several years of experience as a commercial pilot and/or a CPL-IFR instructor license with at least 1500 flight hours and several years of experience in flight school operations
- Methodical and didactic knowledge - ideally proven by a trainer qualification or similar, as well as sound knowledge and experience in operating procedures and systems are an advantage
- Comprehensive knowledge of aerodynamics, navigation and flight meteorology would also be desirable
- Very good linguistic expression and presentation skills in German and English, as well as high social skills
