Flight Procedure Designer


To70 is looking for a flight procedure designer to join their team. The flight procedure designer at To70 works on different projects such as the implementation of RNP procedures, parallel approach procedures, and/or feasibility studies for windfarms and real estate developments. In addition to the project work, the flight procedure designer supports less experienced team members with their PANS-OPS knowledge.

The job:

  • Design and validate flight procedures for different phases of flight
  • Review and advise on existing and future flight procedures
  • Conduct aeronautical studies
  • Report and present the results and formulate recommendations
  • Coach and, if possible, train other less experienced colleagues in PANS-OPS
  • Work in multidisciplinary project teams with for example: aviation consultants, air traffic controllers and pilots
  • Work for different types of interesting (international) clients like ANSP's, airports, civil aviation authorities, and/or real estate developers


  • Completed a technical education at an academic level
  • Good analytical skills
  • Possess a network for acquisition of new projects and/or work on other disciplines within To70 / consultancy skills
  • Obtained IFP design training and certificates
  • Up-to-date knowledge on latest PANS-OPS amendment and related ICAO standards and recommended practices (requirement)
  • Experience in designing approach and departure procedures (requirement)
  • Ability to work with CAD and GIS software
  • Experience with airspace design is preferred
  • Ability to express oneself clearly, both orally and in writing in English
  • Eligible to work in Europe
