22 May 2026 - Ricochet Recorder is Jotron’s world-leading record and replay system for the ATC and marine markets. With the launch of Ricochet Investigator, Jotron now provides investigators with an intuitive, high-performance platform for managing and analyzing critical incident data. Ricochet Investigator also integrates with other systems and includes key features such as:

• Audio Transcription – Quick and accurate speech to text functionality with a built-in transcription editor that puts great focus on speed and usability.

• Synchronized Replay – Synchronized replay of field and recorded data leveraging the proven capabilities of our Ricochet Record and Replay system.

• Audio Enhancement – Automatically generates a clean version of each audio recording to improve the clarity of noisy radio communication.

• Seamless Integration – Fits perfectly together with Jotron’s Ricochet Record and Replay system to ensure a seamless transfer of recorded data to Ricochet Investigator, further speeding up the investigation process.

• Robust API – The API makes it possible to integrate with other systems, allowing you to extend your own tools and software with Ricochet Investigator’s capabilities.

Reduce investigation time and boost operational efficiency

Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), one of Jotron’s Air Navigation Service Providers has field-tested Ricochet Investigator tool for several months and now in the process of commissioning the tool and train investigators.

“Ricochet Investigator tool is a great support for QCAA Safety Unit and is reducing the time spent on investigation transcripts which are currently done manually. We are happy with the product results so far and for the support from Jotron. The Ricochet Investigator transcriptions were found to be very quick and accurate," said Marion Murel from the Safety Unit at Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Air Navigation Department.
