Metacraft Contracted to Supply ATC Simulation System to Gulf Aviation Academy in Bahrain

- Vermont, USA.

Metacraft has completed installation of the SimSuite Air Traffic Control Training and Simulation Platform at the Gulf Aviation Academy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The system includes a high-fidelity multi-channel visual tower simulation lab with a 180 degree field of view, enroute and terminal radar stations emulating real-world European and Middle Eastern radar systems, and a set of pseudo-pilot operator stations. All components are interconnected allowing multi-user, multi-position combined simulation scenarios, with a full-function voice-over-IP audio communications system.

The Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) was in need of a more full-featured and flexible simulation system in order to effectively deliver their Air Traffic Control curriculum. GAA selected Metacraft's SimSuite platform due to the comprehensive feature set, ease of use, and low total cost of ownership. The SimSuite system installation was completed in late 2020 and has recently passed acceptance testing by the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority.

"Metacraft is pleased to have the opportunity to support the Gulf Aviation Academy in their efforts to expand and enrich their ATC training capabilities. We look forward to developing a long-term working relationship with GAA and the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority." - Ross Carlson, Metacraft Owner.

Metacraft is a provider of high-fidelity yet low-cost Air Traffic Control training and simulation systems. Metacraft customers include colleges, universities, research facilities, and training academies in the United States as well as the Middle East.
