Adacel announced they will feature elements of their ATC Unified Training Solution (UTS) at the 23rd edition of the ATC Global Exhibition and Conference. ATC Global will take place at the Amsterdam RAI from 12-14 March. Adacel will be located at stand #D509.
Long known for the advanced features in their full-sized, high definition systems, at ATC Global Adacel’s primary focus will be on defining complete ATC training solutions that can be tailored to specific customer needs. Branded as Adacel’s ATC Unified Training Solution (UTS), the aim is to create the appropriate mix of tools to prevent bottlenecks that break the training continuum, disengage students and ultimately erode previously acquired skills.
Adacel recognizes that full-sized, high definition simulators are not the complete solution to today’s complex ATC training needs. Their vision is a ‘soup to nuts’ approach that marries the appropriate tool to the training stage, taking students from the basics of phraseology and communications learning to the advanced skills required to be a competent controller.
Adacel also specializes in advanced ATM functionality for the safe and efficient control of air traffic in oceanic and mixed surveillance /non-surveillance airspaces and will demonstrate some of the latest technology in the Company’s advanced Aurora ATM system at this year’s ATC Global event. Technologies include 4D profile protection, automated conflict detection, dynamic airspace allocation, controller pilot data link communications (CPDLC) and automatic dependent surveillance- broadcast systems. Avinor, the Norwegian Air Navigation Service Provider, recently selected Adacel’s Aurora platform to provide a new ATM system for managing air traffic in the Bodø Oceanic Flight Information Region.
