Altran Presents its Air Traffic Management Practice at ATC Global

Altrans Air Traffic Management (ATM) practice will be presented on the Altran Praxis exhibition stand at ATC Global.

Providing end-to-end expertise in air traffic management, the Altran ATM practice combines the expertise of Altran Praxis, a specialist systems and software house focused on the engineering of systems with demanding safety, security or innovation requirements, and the ATM capability of other parts of its parent group, Altran, a world leader in innovation consulting and high technology.

The development of the Altran ATM practice follows the announcement of Altran Groups business transformation programme, developed to help the Altran Group offer new, higher value services to organisations around the world. The Altran ATM Practice is a result of combined expertise from across several Altran Group companies.

The Altran ATM Practice offers expertise in air transport and ATM strategy, operational concept and technologies like SESAR, Next Gen and Data Link, air and ground systems engineering for ANSPs, aircraft manufacturers and systems suppliers, and full-spectrum ATM safety, including operations, airports, equipment, regulation and conformity.

A market leader in delivering low-defect safety-critical software, Altran Praxis has worked in international ATM for over 20 years. Altran Praxis ATM projects include the development of a Support Information System for the London Area Terminal Control Centre in the 1980s, to the ground-breaking iFACTS system providing advanced Air Traffic Controller tools.  The iFACTS system will be presented in a joint NATS and Altran Praxis seminar at ATC Global on 9th March, at 15:30 in the Seminar Theatre.

Altran Group is the European leader in innovation consulting with a turnover of €1.4Billion and 17,000 employees in 26 countries. Altran works with its clients at every stage of the innovation lifecycle in technology and innovation consulting, organisation and information systems consulting, and strategy and management consulting.
