Dassault renews confidence in ALTYS’s data link solutions for Falcon 8X and F5X

Dassault Aviation has once again selected ALTYS to support the integration and validation of data link and CPDLC functions for its new Falcon 5X and 8X Programs. ALTYS delivered additional test and monitoring systems in 2015 in support to lab-based testing as well as flight trial campaigns on the most recent Falcon programs. The systems, based on ALTYS’s COTS tools PEER, TRACE and APA, were fully accepted by Dassault in late summer 2015.

ALTYS has been involved in a tight collaboration with Dassault on EASY II Data Link and CPDLC activities starting in 2011 with the Falcon 7X, Falcon 2000 and Falcon 900 Programs.

The Falcon 8X, which features the EASy III cockpit suite, is set for entry into service in the second half of 2016. The Falcon 5X will be equipped with the same EASy avionics suite as the 8X with enhanced graphical CPDLC features.
