ANSL appoints Vicky Bhogal-Hunt Head of Air Traffic Services at Edinburgh Airport

- Gatwick, U.K.

Air Navigation Solutions Limited (ANSL) is delighted to announce the appointment of Vicky Bhogal-Hunt as its Head of Air Traffic Services (HoATS) for Edinburgh Airport.

In this role, Vicky Bhogal-Hunt will lead all of ANSL’s operations and service delivery at Edinburgh Airport which include air traffic control and engineering services, as well as a wide range of projects and continuous improvement activities.

Vicky Bhogal-Hunt brings 25 years of ATM expertise to her new role. She joined ANSL in September 2019 as Operations Specialist, with her insight and expertise playing a key role in managing the volatile aviation environment during and post the COVID-19 pandemic. Vicky has also been involved in the development and delivery of a range of ATM Solutions and projects such as ANSL’s Radar in The Tower (RiTT) implementation support package, and a comprehensive ATS renewal programme.

Previous to her appointment as HoATS, Vicky was deployed as Manager Air Traffic Services at Cambridge Airport, where under secondment from ANSL, she managed the day-to-day operations and coordinated an ATM training programme, as well as overseeing compliance activities across the unit as the accountable manager.

Before joining ANSL in 2019, Vicky was an Air Traffic Controller and also during that time an Instructor, Examiner, Watch Manager and UCS Coordinator for 20 years – principally at Birmingham Airport, and initially at Farnborough.

Henry Game, Managing Director of ANSL, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Vicky into her new role and am looking forward to working with her as part of our skilled and experienced management team as she leads the unit in close collaboration with our Airport Partner in Edinburgh. Being able to build on Vicky’s experience and proven track will help ensure we deliver the strongest service levels at Edinburgh Airport.

“The opportunity to appoint Vicky as HoATS as a long-standing member of our team is a true reflection of commitment to development in our people. I have every confidence in her ability to add value to our operation at Edinburgh Airport from the outset, building on the broad range of activities she has progressed and delivered in ANSL to date.”

Vicky Bhogal-Hunt said: “Edinburgh Airport is a fantastic environment for the growth, innovation, and development of air traffic management. I’m delighted to be stepping up to lead ANSL’s excellent team of air traffic management experts at this dynamic and future-focused airport.”
