ATC Network welcomes its 50th Supporting Organisation

ATC Network was very pleased to welcome its 50th supporting organisation today ATIS Systems.
logosATIS Systems has become the 50th supporting organisation of the ATC Network this week, marking the end of a very successful year for the online Air Traffic Management portal. The network was re-launched in February 2008 to mark 10 years online since the original idea for the concept in 1998.

Director, Chris Wade commented "It has been a very successful year since the relaunch of the site last year and reassuring that so many companies have utilised the network and other initiatives we have produced.
The new technology behind the network has been the underlining factor of the network's success.

We run an 'open source' concept in that the marketing managers are able to add their own news, product presentations etc. and also access the statistics to monitor what is being looked at and this is a very useful tool at a time when marketing budgets are being scrutinised. Most advertising methods are extremely difficult to quantify but allowing access to this is a valuable tool.

We have also been able to offer good value to our organistaions during a time when most companies are 'tightening their belts' and I hope that this will be rewarded with those organisation continuing to utilise the network when the financial outlook improves. This is an industry that can't sit still even in times of financial difficulties and I believe that can be seen by the large numbers of companies that are using the internet as their preferred source for marketing. Search Engine Optimisation has also been a key to the site's success this past year with acceptance as an official news source by Google being a key factor. Since Google approved the network we have found that most our results are being in the top 3 with the popular search engine.

Also the Tender Information Service we launched has been extremely popular and has now become part of the marketing package we offer. More and more tenders were being published uniquely on the site and this has created a lot of interest and traffic for supplier sourcing. The return of the ATC Network Company and Product Directory this year also proved very popular. It was a concept we first came up with in 2002 when it was produced on a DCard (credit card sized CD Rom).

This year we distributed over 7,000 copies of the Directory and I am pleased to say already companies are asking to book there places on next years copy." So a busy year for the Network but not a time to be complacent. "We are constantly looking for new initiatives and asking the customers how they would like to see things develop on the network."
