Aviation Renewables Releases Solar Series Runway Guard Light

After successful trials at United Kingdoms Southampton Airport and at remote airfields within Afghanistan, the Solar Series Runway Guard Light will provide a low cost LED warning system for aircraft and vehicles moving throughout the airfield during day and night operations. Whether the requirement is permanent, temporary or portable, the Solar Series RGL will provide increased safety at runway, taxiway and airfield intersections where electrical infrastructure is not available. The unit can be configured with an integrated or remotely installed solar engine with radio frequency command and control capabilities from the Air Traffic Control tower or within the airfield as required. The Solar Series RGL is available in the standard model for sunny latitudes or the northern model for higher latitudes and demanding solar conditions.
