Bahamas the Latest Caribbean State to Choose IDS/Ubitech to Handle Their AMHS Communications with the FAA

IDS Ubitech Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A., has received an order from the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) of the Bahamas for the provision of the Ubimex AMHS System.
This system will provide the necessary infrastructure to enable mission-critical data communications with the FAA communications center.

CAD was faced with an urgent need to replace an aging AFTN system and prepare themselves for the 2012 Flight Plan. They contacted the different AMHS vendors to analyze who best could meet their requirement for a quick delivery period. CAD was impressed by the professionalism and commitment displayed by IDS/Ubitech during the site survey and how it was followed up with a comprehensive technical offering including a delivery period of only 3 months. CAD made the decision so many other Caribbean islands have made and chose IDS/Ubitech as AMHS supplier. "We are very happy to announce CAD as our latest AMHS customer in the Caribbean," said Dario Rossilli, Chief Operating Officer of Ubitech, "Our market success in this region is testament to the quality of our products and the excellence of our customer service."

This AMHS project with CAD Bahamas is IDS/Ubitechs 5th AMHS project in the Caribbean with previous successes in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Curacao, & St. Maarten.
