CANSO launches Tomorrow’s Voices to inspire next generation of aviation talent
CANSO is pleased to announce the return of Tomorrow’s Voices, an initiative designed to connect students and young professionals with the global aviation and air traffic management (ATM) industry.
Taking place during Airspace World 2026, from 26–28 May in Lisbon, Tomorrow’s Voices offers participants the opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders, explore career pathways, and experience the future of aviation through interactive learning and networking activities.
As aviation continues to evolve, the need to attract, develop and empower the next generation of talent has never been greater. Tomorrow’s Voices supports this by fostering early engagement and developing future skills across the ecosystem.
The programme includes a series of curated activities designed to provide both insight and interaction. A key highlight is the panel session “CANSO Tomorrow’s Voices: Building the Talent and Innovation Ecosystem Aviation Needs”. The session will feature senior aviation leaders sharing practical initiatives and lessons learned on talent development and innovation, followed by a moderated discussion to encourage deeper exchange.
Participants can also take part in a dedicated Breakfast with CEOs and industry leaders, offering informal networking opportunities with senior executives, as well as an interactive exhibition experience combining guided tours and a gamified activity.
“Tomorrow’s Voices is about creating a bridge between today’s industry and tomorrow’s talent,” said Angy Odysseos, CANSO Media Relations Manager and co-lead of the Tomorrow’s Voices initiative. “We want to ensure that young people who are passionate about aviation and air traffic management (ATM) can see clear pathways into the sector and feel part of its future.”
"As aviation evolves, so must our workforce,” added Eduardo Garcia, CANSO Future Skies Manager and co-lead of the initiative. “The ideas, energy and perspectives of the next generation will be essential to shaping future skies.”
Students, graduates, and early-career professionals with an interest in aviation, engineering, technology, or air traffic management are encouraged to apply via airspaceworld.com/tomorrows-voices.
CANSO also invites its global network of members, partners, universities, and industry stakeholders to actively support the initiative by sharing it within their communities and encouraging participation from young talent across the sector
