- St. Petersburg, Russia.

The 9th session of the CIS Coordination Transport Meeting sectoral Councils was held in Rostov-on-Don this summer. The event, chaired by Yuri Tsvetkov - Deputy Minister of Transport of Russian Federation, gathered delegates of the transport departments from Russian, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Moldova, business community representatives of the, international and public organizations.

Sergei Bybin, Deputy General Designer of CRTS, LLC, took part in the transport informatization meeting. In his speech, he highlighted the challenges the global industry community is currently facing. According to Mr.Bybin, one of the key areas of global logistics development in the medium term is expected to be the drones safe integration into a unified transport environment along with managed air assets.

- Creation of the technological conditions for the safe presence of both manned and unmanned aircraft in general airspace is on the world's agenda. In this part our company has its own advanced solutions that fully meet all international standards. The technological base is the flagship product of CRTS, the "Almanac" MLAT/WAM integrated system. Thanks to its unprecedentedly effective accuracy characteristics and functionality, the system allows to implement the DAA (Detect and avoid system, to detect and prevent conflicts en-route) and the C2 line (Command & Control line for unmanned air traffic), which is necessary for the UAVs integration into a general airspace, he concluded.

Earlier this year, Russia has already passed a series of successful tests of manned and unmanned aircraft joint flights in the field of the "Almanac" system continuous surveillance at the experimental airfield in the Tver Region of Russia. As part of an agreement with Kronstadt Aero Company, Russian leading UAVs designer and producer, test flights of various types of UAVs in the Leningrad Region are also carried out in the "Almanac" surveillance zone.
