Citation crashes into buildings at Biggin Hill

A Citation crashed into buildings after encoutering engine problems shortly after take off at Biggin Hill airfield in the UK
The aircraft came down close to the approach of Biggin Hill after encountering problems shortly after deparure. The aircraft was departing from Biggin Hill when it encountered problems and requested to return to the field. Shortly after it lost altitude and dove in to the surrounding houses. The house that bore the major part of the collision was fortunately uninhabited at the time as the residents were away on holiday. Another pilot who was on approach to the field reported to the press shortly after that he heard the distress communication from the stricken jet. He said that the pilot reported they were "going down" and whilst taxiing himself he saw the small jet drop from the air and a cloud of black smoke rising from the ground shortly afterwards.
