Dublin selects Ricochet's recording system

Ricochet AS - a worldwide supplier of state-of-the-art recording and replay systems within Air Traffic Control (ATC), compliance and public safety sector - today announced that their recording system will be deployed at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel, Ireland.
Ricochet has signed a contract with the Irish Air Corps - the air component of the Permanent Defence Forces - at Casement Aerodrome. Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel, is an airfield to the south west of Dublin. It is currently in use by the Irish Air Corps and for other government purposes and is the property of the Department of Defence. In addition to recording of audio sources from various interfaces, Ricochets recording system at Casement Aerodrome is also equipped for At-The-Glass (ATG) recording. The Ricochet screen recording software facilitates the recording of radar screens to mirror all operations, including mouse movements and information displayed to the controllers. Available for replay less than a minute after recording, this tool is optimized for fast recall, as well as for incident investigations. Already complying with ICAO requirements for radar recording, Ricochet has adapted to the proposed requirements for screen recording in order to get the complete picture, says Jørn Rød-Larsen, President and CEO, Ricochet. Casement Aerodrome will benefit from this innovating technology and accurately record and replay what was displayed at each screen at any given time.
