DWI has become an official European distributor of the PANADES procedure design tool developed byNTT Data Corporationof Japan. An agreement was signed between the two companies in November and means that PANADES is now available within Europe from DWI, who shall also be providing frontline helpdesk support to PANADES users within Europe.
PANADES was designed and developed by NTT Data specifically to meet ICAO PBN guidelines and PANS-OPS ICAO Doc 8168 criteria as well as providing a high-level of automation in order to allow procedure designers analyse multiple what-if scenarios. PANADES has already been supplied to the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (link) as well as Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Education and Training Agency of Indonesia and AeroThai, the Thailand ANSP.
The agreement between DWI and NTT Data represents continued cooperation between the two companies who together continue to develop the RNAV Validation Tool. The RNAV Validation Tool is compatible with PANADES and can validate procedures exported directly in AIXM format from the procedure design tool.
Kei Ikami, Sales Manager at NTT Data Corporation said "We are pleased that DW International, a company with solid foundations in the aviation industry, is now a distributor of Panades. We foresee that this will place NTT Data Corporation in a prime position to explore the European market for procedure design tools."
"PANADES is a key enabler for PBN implementation and fits perfectly alongside the DWI suite of PBN tools such as theRNAV Validation Tooland the GNSS RAIM/RNP Prediction Service," said John Wilde, CEO of DWI.
