ENAIRE is the first essential services operator certified as per the National Security Scheme's highest category

ENAIRE took part in the 14th Security Conference on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), organised by the National Cryptological Centre's Security Incident Response Team (CCN-CERT), which featured over 115 renowned speakers, with 3,600 professionals attending its workshops and seminars.

ENAIRE takes part in Spain's leading cybersecurity conferenceIn this edition, which was held online as a result of COVID-19, ENAIRE played a leading role with its presentation titled "ENAIRE, the first essential services operator certified as per the National Security Scheme's highest category", given jointly by Gerardo Sarmiento, head of ENAIRE's Cybersecurity Office, and Miguel A. Lubián, of the CÍES Institute.
Spain's air navigation manager shared the essential aspects that have allowed it to be a pioneer in achieving the highest NSS certification, the most comprehensive and demanding in the area of cybersecurity, as well as the main challenges faced and the solutions implemented, many of which are common to other essential services operators.

ENAIRE underscored its firm commitment to cybersecurity and the great involvement and participation of all its work centres in Spain.

The conference was opened by the director of the National Intelligence Centre, Paz Esteban. Also taking part were representatives from the leading cybersecurity players in Spain: Luis Jiménez, Deputy General Manager of the CCN; Rosa Díaz, Director of INCIBE; Francisco Javier Roca, second-in-command of the Joint Cyberspace Command; Miguel Ángel Ballesteros, director of the Department of National Security; and Juan Carlos López Madera, head of the Cybersecurity Coordination Office.
