Ian Mills, Director of Engineering and Commercial Services, has been appointed to the Board of NATS, the UKs major provider of air traffic management.
Ian joined NATS four years ago and in his current position is responsible for the delivery of the companys long-term investment plan and for the engineering resources required to achieve it. He also oversees supply chain, business improvement, training and commercial development. He said: This is an exciting and challenging time for NATS and Im grateful for the opportunity to play an even more active part in moving the company forward. Its important this aspect is represented at Board level. Ian becomes a Board member with immediate effect, joining existing executive directors Paul Barron, NATS Chief Executive; Lawrence Hoskins, NSL Chief Executive; Ian Hall, Operations Director and Nigel Fotherby, Finance Director. The NATS Board also includes representatives of the Government, the Airline Group and BAA, the companys major shareholders.
