Era Selected by City of Phoenix for Environmental Monitoring System

Era Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), today announced it has been awarded a contract by the City of Phoenix to upgrade its noise and flight track monitoring solution at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The solution will feature Eras AirScene.com NOMS (Noise and Operations Management System) and Brüel & Kjærs 3639E noise monitors. AirScene.com NOMS allows the airport to correlate aircraft identification data with flight tracks to determine specific aircraft noise levels. The system will be used in the areas surrounding Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, one of the top ten busiest airports in the U.S. AirScene.com NOMS is an advanced, professionally hosted integrated applications suite for managing the environmental impact of airport operations. Airports use NOMS to measure and monitor noise to validate noise abatement procedures and to effectively respond to community noise concerns. In addition, the City of Phoenix selected Eras AirScene.com Contours, an optional feature of AirScene.com NOMS. AirScene.com Contours is the industrys most powerful integrated noise contouring application and is compatible with the latest version of the FAAs current integrated noise model (INM). AirScene.com Contours also will be compatible with the aviation environmental design tool (AEDT), the FAAs next generation modeling tool that integrates both noise and air quality. AirScene.com Contours can be used to produce individual and multiple airport contours. Phoenixs competitive award to Era strengthens our reputation as the most widely selected and deployed NOMS supplier in the U.S., said Bill Colligan, SRAs vice president and general manager, Airport Operations Solutions. Because of AirScene.coms advanced technology, the City of Phoenix will be able to effectively monitor noise at multiple airports, ranging from general aviation facilities to large commercial hubs.
