Flight MH 370 Malaysian Airways crashed in Indian Ocean; No survivors

Today Premier Najib Razak of Malaysia informed the relatives of the passengers of flight MH370 it’s now beyond any doubt the plane has crashed into the Indian Ocean and no one on board will have survived the crash. (239 people on board)

The announcement followed after discovery of two floating objects south in the Indian Ocean. The Australian air force located two objects of which one was believed to be a safety raft. An Australian marine ship is now on its way to the wreckage as is a Chinese vessel to offer support.

MH370 Indian Ocean

The Malaysia Airlines plane left Kuala Lumpur at 00:40 local time (16:40 GMT) on 8 March. Based on new analysis, the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch and Inmarsat, the UK company that provided satellite data, have concluded that MH370 flew along the southern corridor, and that its last position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean, west of Perth.
