ADQ services for Data Originators and Surveyors

- Madrid, Spain

GroupEAD and BLOM have signed a partnership agreement to strengthen their ADQ services for data originators and surveyors. With this strategic partnership, GroupEAD’s ADQ services address all the parties involved in the Aeronautical Data Chain. On the other hand, BLOM offers knowhow and experience in capturing and processing georeferenced data related to aeronautical data for survey companies, airports and aeronautical information system providers.

The first step to ensure data of sufficient quality, consistency, completeness and timeliness is the proper origination of such data. Assuring that the process is performed according to the ADQ requirements is of utmost importance. GroupEAD and BLOM target surveyors for the aeronautical data and offer an extensive portfolio of services to certify that the survey processes meet the ADQ requirements.

EC 73/2010 regulation, also known as ADQ regulation, affects the whole aeronautical data chain, starting with the data surveyors. Airport obstacle data is addressed by the regulation as critical data to be resurveyed 1st of July 2017; and this process has to be performed according to ADQ requirements.

“The aeronautical data chain starts with the origination of data. Surveyors play a key role for many of those very specific data. It is obvious that ADQ service provision has to start at the source of data origination. The portfolio of BLOM and GroupEAD perfectly fit together to be able to support data surveyors when they need to follow the requirements of the European Commission Regulation 73/2010. Together with BLOM we are able to speak both languages “ADQ compliant data managing” and “Surveying aeronautical data” said Heinz-Michael Kraft, CEO of GroupEAD.

Ralf Schroth, Managing Director of BLOM Deutschland said, "the combination of knowledge and experience of these both organizations will bring a clear advantage to our clients".
