IDAC Accepts Ubitechs eAIP and AIS Systems in the Dominican Republic

The Instituto Dominicano De Aviation Civil (IDAC) gave its certification of the systems after a flawless site acceptance test procedure in which Ubitech demonstrated the systems compliance to all contract requirements. Spatia is Ubitechs family of aeronautical information management modules designed to form a complete solution for the modern AIS office. Built on a common platform, Spatias modular design gives IDAC the ability to enhance their capabilities and begin the transition from AIS to the future AIM. Immediately, the Spatia eAIP Module will provide IDAC with ICAO compliant workflow management that will streamline the publication process and improve the accuracy and integrity of the AIP. The Spatia Dynamic AIS Module has fully automated the ATS messaging operations of the Notam, Met, and Flight Planning offices and provides AIS staff with powerful features for analyzing critical aeronautical data in real-time.
